In another month we will start looking along the shoreline for signs of the turtles returning. Next we will see them digging a nest followed by their laying eggs. Only one turtle out of every 1000 eggs laid survives to return to her home beach. Now is the time to make your reservations to come out and see all of these things happen. To have a better chance of seeing an incoming turtle, come and stay with us at the Turtle House for at least 2-3 nights so you can go out early with the nesting surveyor to look for new nests or walk the beach at night looking to see an adult come in to nest.
