ABOUT US

Located in Treasure Beach, on the south west coast of Jamaica. Our group and its associated conservation tours was set up to provide employment locally, while raising money to fund projects like our hawksbill sea turtle nesting surveys.

We hope that once conservation ideology and funding start flowing into the community, more people will realize that it is important and financially beneficial for them to at least save some of their natural resources for the future.

Most turtles come in to nest from June through August. It takes about two months for the eggs to hatch so August until end of October is hatchling time, although we get the odd turtle anytime during the year.

If you are interested in seeing some of these wonderful turtles, sign up for a tour at the Billy's Bay Natural History Museum in Treasure Beach or call + 1 876 304 7778 and talk to Camar. Even better make arrangements with Camar to come and stay at our guest house, which is conveniently located just above the nesting beach.
